Dollar
Chapter 1
My name is dollar I was born in Egypt I love watching TVs series like (most of them) specially that one where Melinda Gordon who could talk to the dead.. It was ghost whisper.
My parents were very poor people which make them hope for money to survive after while my father discovers that my mother is pregnant.. They were afraid.. Confused.. My mother does not want to have me because she was very worried about how can we all survive we have no money, no one can survive without money so she asked my father to let her lose the baby but he did not accept her idea to lose me he had a dream about an old white woman with black eyes and red hair that pretty woman seemed like a witch she told him that he will have a son and when that son reach 30 years old he will live forever he is not goanna be sick ever so you should keep him without hesitating she said he didn't know how to act so he had that conversation with my mother:
Mother: what we goanna do now?
Mother: about that baby.. We can't have a baby now we can't eat
Father: or.. We can have the baby and when we fell hungry we can eat him together.. I love you.
Mother: not now please is that a good time to make your jokes.. Be serious.
Father: ok what we should have to keep that baby?
Mother: Money and only money.
Father: ok then.. We can have them both.
Mother: how?
Father: we can name him money actually money is so much to us.. It will be just a dollar.
So they have decided to keep me.. For hope.. for luck as a dollar.
I don’t know how that happened but I think that I am gifted.. I have a talent that one makes me move to another person to discover his life.. Feel his suffering.. His problems like me and him in the same body as one soul.
I have to learn to control my abilities because I don’t want to end up as a prostitute someday, so I will try hard to not fly away to reach a random target, it has to be specific choice.
It starts when I was a little.. in my sleeping I had that dream which was like a nightmare because I was in someone else I can hear him feel him listen to him but I can't control him like when I am watching TV .. I just listen and watch from the inside that stranger person.
I can't get out not until the story was finished it begins from the past till the present he is kind of telling me all his story.. Make me feel all his suffering, pain, the time was stopped until the story is finished.. I don’t know what can I do to ignore what I saw.. What I felt I was upset.. Confused.. Worried.. Thinking what if someday when I went to another person I couldn't come back again.. I don’t know how can I handle that I have decided to be silent so I didn't tell anyone I convinced myself that was just a dream I grew up .. My dreams seemed to be real.
Chapter 2
Before I reached 30 years old and before I discover or feel my talent I had a normal life I had friends and I had also a love story.. Her name is fortune and she was the love of my life.. That girl I remember the first time I talked with her I felt my heart like it was alive for the first time.. It was the first time that I feel something like that so I lost my way.
Me: Hi..
Her: Hi
Me: what's your name..
Her: It's Sarah.
Me: ok.. I am dollar, so how old are you Sarah?
Her: 24.. What about you?
Me: I am 26, you know.. You are pretty, are you real.. Because you are so pretty to be real.
She smiled.
Me: I don’t know if you are engaged or something are you?
She: no but I was engaged to someone.. But now it's over.
Me: how can a pretty girl like you is not married?
She: because I am looking for something special.. a man who can make me feel my femininity
Me: oh.. And you couldn't find that one?
She: no.. Everyone I met has just one thing from my dreams man.. I want from every one something I want all those things collected in one person.. When I find him I will marry him. And my name is fortune.
I wished here that I will be that one.. I liked her.. That cute girl in Egyptian expression hunted my heart that day, how can I explain that when I tell her I love you.. I told her.. She freaked out.. You don’t know me.. You don’t know anything about me.. How can you love me.. Why you love me.. She didn’t believe me.. It was true.. I loved her from all of my heart may be I was fast but it was very fast to her …
Me: I'm looking for love too a fancy girl a woman who can satisfy me.
Silent moment me:.. Can I take your number?
Fortune: why?
Me: I want to call you to make sure that you are not a ghost or something.
Fortune: give me yours and I will call you.
Me: ok.. That’s my number.. Hurry..
She smiled.
We talked a little she was nice I was confused because it was the first time I feel that strong unique feeling after days I asked her out.
I talked to her enough to ask her to marry me.. I was so in love with her I dreamed about her I don’t like my life except for her so it was that call.
Me: I missed you
Fortune: me too how are you doing ?
Me: I want to marry you.
Fortune: believe me I am not good enough for you and you deserve better.
Me: I know that.. But I can live with that.
Fortune: how could you marry me you don’t know anything about me.
Me: like what.. You know that you can tell me anything.
Fortune: I like reading books most time love going out I am smoking…
Me: so what? You are cute very sexy pretty crazy one so don’t ask me to be normal man.. You know that you are a very crazy one.. And I love you.
Fortune: you crazy
Me: you crazy fortune
Fortune: crazy very crazy.
Me: you are too, I am crazy about you.. I love you.
Silent moment.. Me: you are too coward to admit that you love me too.
She was still silent.. Me: everything in my life related to you.. You know that.
Fortune: I know (very soft voice).
Me: so let's get married or tell me what do you want?
Fortune: we are friends let's take it slow I am with you.. Don’t worry (soft voice).
I ended that call normally and after while I called her because I missed her so much I wanted to meet her I couldn’t wait so I called she was happy very happy I told her that I love her very much like all the time every call every end of any call between us I was saying .. Fortune I love you if I forgot I call again to tell her that saying actually I forgot to tell you something important and I tell her I love you most time I forgot on purpose to call her again we talked hours so I moved on to the next step I told her that:
Me: I want to meet you
Fortune: why?
Me: because I like you and I want to see you.. And stop asking me why. Ok?
She was stubborn girl but after I met another girl (Emmy) who liked me so much and also wanted me hardly Emmy called me every moment.. I did not like her that much so I told her I'm in love with another girl.. I told fortune about that one who was still chasing me the next day fortune was with me in our first date.
She surprised me.. She called to tell me that she is here and asked me to go and get her she wanted to see me too so I met her
Chapter 3
We kissed twice or more.. I felt her she succeeded to seduce me she was the only one.. I like kissing girls but I prefer doing that with just my future wife I have roles by the way she destroyed all my roles she was that dangerous she did not care about that kind of roles That day was like a dream.. at the beginning I waited until she came to me we shacked hands she looked at me with her beautiful black eyes that angel with a human look I took her for a walk after while grabbed her soft hand to mine she felt my love I know that she felt me I don’t remember the full conversation because it was like a dream which when you wake up you don’t have to remember everything she was a dream when I saw her in front of me for the first time I do remember something she said in the end of the day that:
Fortune: when we married what will you do.. Make me a prisoner at home?
Me: no.. No I won't make you a prisoner or take you as a hostage don’t worry.. I love you.
Fortune: promise?
Me: yes I promise..
I was very happy.. she was angel we kissed and we talked after while she kissed me a very long kiss after I reached my home I had received a massage from her it says I don’t believe that you are real because you are like the moon actually I have no experience about girls so I didn’t call for while or return the massage I didn’t know what I have to do I freaked out because I didn’t know that I was that good it was my first any one could help me.. I didn’t find the real support so I was alone and I felt that I just started to lose her.. It was very painful period and suddenly that happened:
Me: hi.. How are you? Is there any news?
Fortune: no news what about you?
Me: nothing you don’t know.. Where are you?
Fortune: home I feel so sad it’s a crazy life.
Me: why? What happened?
She worked somewhere in there she met her boss he was engaged and as she said he is a cute one.. She liked him and she told me.
Me: why him?
Fortune: he played all the games in the world and finished it (she was that crazy) …….
What a not expected answer he seemed like a fake one.. He left his fiancé and proposed to fortune
Me: what about me?
She was upset I didn’t call for a long time I was afraid to lose her but I did nothing I wanted her and I kept my self-silent I didn’t make a real move it was my first love so when I finally remembered that I am in love with a girl I called she answered saying that:
Fortune: I found something better so I moved on.. Sorry
Me: you are wrong he is just your boss if I hired you.. You will feel the same thing too it’s an old movie the female secretary marry the manager don’t you see? And why you liked him because he played all the games.. Are you crazy? What does that mean; I want to know how did your father do when he met your boss? What did he say?
Fortune: he hated him and asked him to leave he told him that he will never marry me and just forget her.
I remember all things that happened between us.. Every single moment.. I made her a song in her birthday a fabulous one.. I wrote to her all the best things I traded her like a queen and like a no one in 2 deferent satiations but that what she deserve I was romantic and rude I was the thing and the opposite she can find in me all her needs I was unbelievable and I was so crazy about her.. I was different.
I was in bad mood I didn’t call her for a long time I don’t know why.. After while I felt that I just can't breathe I wake up night from the noise of my heart.. my heart was screaming her name fortune she is my love all the life in her hug if she decided to leave me it's her right because she owned all of me I wrote that I needed some air that air was her voice I couldn't wait I tried to reach her she changed her number so I called her idiot cousin she refused to tell me but she told fortune that I am calling.
I was just need to hear her voice talk to her and then she called.
Chapter 4
The phone was raining the time was late I feel miserable and it was a strange number.
Me: yes
Fortune: yes what.. What the hill is that I am fortune.
Me: who.. Fortune really.. How are you? Where are you? Why you left? What happened?
Fortune: yes I am fortune and slow down I am fine don’t worry and why are you calling my cousin?
Me: I want to know what happened to you can't just leave like that I worried about you why you didn’t answer me?
Fortune: I am engaged now
Me: your cousin told me that you are not happy and asked me if I loved you why I couldn’t marry you why I let you go?
Fortune: my cousin is stupid and don’t worry I am happy now so move on please.
Me: I love you.. I wrote something to you just listen to me
Fortune: listen to what.. It's too late I am engaged
Me: please just listen to that one it's not me it's my heart just listen
Fortune: ok.. You can say I am listening
I told her my words it was like magic I told her that she owned my soul and that I am all yours
Me: if you talk to me or not if you leave me or not doesn't matter because I am all yours and you have the right to do whatever you want you can leave I will not complain.
She was silent.. She continued to be silent until I woke her.. Are you here?
Fortune: (with a very soft voice) yes.. Yes I am here
I felt that she wanted more but I was desperate so I couldn't say any more because she was engaged to someone else.
Me: stay with me
Fortune: what we goanna do or say.
Me: just stay you can say anything I will listen to you I want to just hear you speak and say anything.
She stayed 3 phone calls or more every call I asked her to be with me for another one in the last I told her.. Now I have to go.. She asked me to not hate her so told her that Nothing is going to make me hate you.. Bye.
I let her go she took everything with her she left me nothing to live except the pain it was so hard to lose her like that.. That man took everything from me.. What did he do to deserve her nothing he just played every game in the world and she was with him.. I don’t believe that maybe he is a good person may be not but at the end she was gone.
I dreamed about her more than one time I couldn't move on I tried.. I failed.. Nothing can make me forget her and the last news was her father refused her boss and kicked him out.
Chapter 5
I emailed her.. She wasn’t answering.. After while she told me that she is married and she does not want to get divorce because of me
Fortune: don’t mail me again.. How can I explain you to my husband?
Me: it was just a mail not a crime I worried so I emailed I want to know if you are really happy
Fortune: I am happy and you are going to divorce me
Me: you know that I love you ( I was in pain ).
Fortune: I know but I am married now
Me: I know but I don’t know why.. Who is he?
Fortune: what's the deference to you.. He is my boss so please stop emailing me stop calling me.. I left you why don’t you move on please don't call if you love me wish me luck and happiness and stop chasing me.
Me: you know what.. Do whatever you want I know that you are mine.. You are mine fortune and I will never call or email you again ever.
It was a painful situation I can't be that weak I have to move on.. I took my steps to move on so I couldn't.. But I kept my word I didn’t call I didn’t email her again.
I couldn't forget about her I kept her photos and I saved my promises I felt lost. I lost any need to keep myself alive.. I didn’t care about anything.. I was a mess.
I tried to move to another girl I tried more than one and every time she was still chasing me I couldn’t because she was the one I lived a nightmare a crazy one how could she leave me she left me for nothing I have done more than everything no one normal or crazy or unique girl could leave me after everything I have done I lost faith in myself I hated my life I wished that I am dead I felt that part from my heart was taken pain, pain, pain I remember that every day I couldn't sleep from my heart which was bleeding, she just killed me in cold blood oh my god she left I was in shock I felt sick starting to forget things, don’t care about important things, I refused to believe that she was gone, I stopped eating, I dreamed about her more than one time, days after days months after months and before one year I have received a phone call .. Unknowing number it was her.
Chapter 6
Ok.. Let's make our first flash back.. That one tried to go out with my best friend; at the beginning, I discovered that by luck.. And here when I traded her like a bitch That one left me easily for her boss.. And when I asked her why him she said because he just played every game in the world and finished it. She loved before a criminal person and she is a big liar, really she is a very big liar and she asked me to let her go saying please, she had done all the wrong choices.
I remember pain.. I remember Lost.. Hope for dying.. Betrayal.. my heart was bleeding, screaming her name and bagging me to call her to go and get her, to do anything to make her back, I remember that I was dead , I lost faith in myself, I hated my words And I remember also love, so let's come back to that phone call.
Me: yes?
Fortune: how are you?
Me: I am fine thanks who are you?
Fortune: you don’t know me?? You don’t recognize my voice?
Me: actually I don’t know it's very loud there and yes I can't recognize your voice so who are you?
I was thinking is she fortune? No she is not, it's impossible, fortune married she is not her.
Fortune: it's me fortune remember? You forgot my voice.. It's me.
Me: fortune? Hi.. What? Is everything ok.. Are you all right?
Fortune: yes.. I am ok.. Are you?
Me: yes I am good what?
Fortune: how could you don’t know my voice?
I said to myself.. What the hill is that is she crazy or she did not remember the last call she is blaming me about forgetting her voice oh my god just here I wished to have a normal girl.
Me: sorry.. It's very noisy there.. Where are you?
Her: in the street.
Me: what do you want? Are you divorced? Did he leave you?
Fortune: I won't tell you anything till I see you.
Me: see me?? Are you divorced? Or did he run away? Or what? What happened to you?
Fortune: I want you back
Me: what? Oh sorry you left me.. Remember? You don’t want me to email you or call you and you said please.. Remember?
Fortune: when you met me I was young and stupide.. I didn't believe you when you offered me your love.
Me: oh.. And now you believed me.. Oh please. And how all that happened you discovered that by yourself?
Fortune: please I was young I don’t know what to do.. And yes I believed you because you were saying that you love me all the time.. I believe you just give me another chance.
Me: I don’t know what to say
Fortune: why you don’t know.. You know what.. You still love me.. I know that.
Actually she was right.. I was happy.. Very happy.. I know that she will come back.
Fortune: I am yours remember.. You said that.
Me: said what.. I don’t remember.. You break up with me for nothing you just left remember?
Fortune: you said: you can do whatever you want.. I know that you are mine.. You are mine.. So I am yours Remember?
Me: no.
I know if I give her another chance she will leave again because she was the same person who left me for nothing with all of my love but really that phone call made me believe in myself again I was right no girl in the world could leave me after all I have done I was unbelievable no girl or woman could ask for more because there is no more than that I didn’t remember everything to tell , in that time I did not have enough experience to keep her I did some big mistakes she was my first love.
Chapter 7
It was unbelievable moment like an impossible dream so I have decided to listen to her and because I was in love with her till that moment but I was enjoying my time when she begged me to take her back I made her nervous she defended herself and asked me to forgive her I remember her lovely voice when she told me I was young I was stupide when I met you so please forgive me.
Me: ok.. Ok just stop you can come back but I want to know everything. Are you divorced?
Fortune: I won't tell you anything until I see you.
Me: ok I will see you but I want to know what happened.. You can't just call after all that to tell me nothing you have to tell me something I am listening.
Fortune: I have 2 children I will bring them to you when I meet you.
Me: no.. No.. No.. 2 children could you please just come alone at first I want to know what happened to you don’t bring the children with you please are they twins?
I asked myself how can I take care of 2 children but I have decided to marry her and take care of her children I can't get rid of her she needs me I know that it will be hard to my family but it's my decision to make and I have decided to be with her against the world I don’t care she still fortune and I am still dollar who loves that one from all his heart she owned me remember?
Me: ok.. I will take care of you all don’t worry (I was series and I could not refuse fortune when she needed me).
After while she told me her big surprise that she was never married it was just engagement, they were fighting all the time, and she couldn't forget my words to her in each fight when I told her that she can go and do whatever she want, she will come back because she is mine.
I told my friend lion that she is back, he told me to keep her and to take care of her, I will because she is my girl.
I met her again when I saw her she was like me when I was dead.
Me: oh my god.. Who are you? Why you seem like that.. Don’t you eat?
Fortune: no I was very sick, I have problems with life.
She was talking like me when she left.. She was a mess.. I was tired.. I can change all of that but that day I wasn't myself.. I was so tired to even talk to her.. It's my bad luck I guess.. I could make her feel better I know that I have done that before most time when someone I care about needs help or was in a bad mood, it’s a part of my talent, but with her that day I was acting wired because everything was that weird, she is with me now, maybe she was not in her mood, me too, but its ok she is fortune and she is here, nothing matter.
Me: what do you want to do?
Fortune: let's go to Cairo Tower like we agreed.
So we went to Cairo tower.
Me: ok.. I hope that you feel better.
Fortune: no.. I want to die could you hold my bag I will jump.
I was silent here I couldn’t speak, if I was fine I would say:
Me: ok.. You can give me your bag and please go ahead.. Do you want me to help, if you want me to help or you are afraid I can help, so go ahead?
It's my magical way to handle that situation, I will take her attention make her think.. That is not what she expected from me, she is thinking now, after while she will feel better.. It will be our start to a conversation.. A good one.. so I could control the dialog between us and take her the way I want, nothing could stop me from making her happy that day, it was my bad luck because I was sick and seemed to be tired.
We stayed.. Together.. I offered her to come with me to introduce her to my family, she asked me what did you tell them about me, did you tell them that we are sneaking out together, I smiled and told her don’t worry, she was silent after while she asked me to wait till next time, I didn’t insist I said ok.
Fortune: I am hungry.. Could you take me to eat something?
Me: ok.. I like pizza lets go.
Fortune: ok.
We ate together.. I didn’t eat except for one piece.. she was hunger but she did not eat enough because of me, she was sad, because I was that tired so we left, to walk, to talk, before she leave I gave her a gift it was a Nicolas.. A cute one she did wear it, it was nice day and she left.
Chapter 8
Like you know I have changed I wasn’t the same person who loved that girl from all of his heart because she asked me to not contact her if I really loved her, It was hard but I did what she asked, it was like she wanted me to kill myself, so when she came back to me I wasn’t ready.
All I felt was Shock, fear, and I didn’t trust her, she had to earn my trust again if she really loved me but she did not believe that I really loved her at first so she couldn’t imagine what I felt when she just left me for nothing, I was really suffering, fortune was the best thing I have ever had in my life, she could make me forget myself, my life and my friends, like you know she was that dangerous.
We talked I needed time, she needed to feel that I really love her, she needed me to care more about her, I didn't understand that in that time because of my fear to lose her again, I was worried about everything, when I started to not tell her everything we started to fight, I was mistaken, she was right about that because we will share a life together a one life but I was afraid, I needed time to trust her again, after that fight she told me that she will never goanna marry me ever so I told her to go to hill I did that because I remembered when she left me at first so I let her go if she really loved me she would stay her cousin called me after while it was fortune in the phone we talked she was like she didn’t know how to act but it was the end after while we had the last phone call she told me that she will marry her boss I told her I will marry too at the end I married and that marriage was my biggest mistake so I fix it by accepting the divorce fortune married and after while I did know that her life is miserable and she didn’t accept that life (her life). Like we two ruined each other life.
